Orthotripsy (Shockwave Therapy)

Orthotripsy, or Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESTW) is a non-invasive outpatient procedure. This treatment is used in our office for patients who have had chronic heel pain for more than six months, and have tried other treatment methods.

The treatment works by increasing bloodflow and healing after causing micro-trauma to the affected area, and in turn promotes tendon healing.
